Hi Shane,
I meant to say that there were Hypo Motleys because of the other NORMAL Motley in the mix. The Hypo gene from the Hypo Motley he used attached to the other Motley making Hypo Motleys. Hypo Motleys can't be produced with just a Hypo Motley. You need a Motley and a Hypo. In Mikes case, he used a Hypo Motley to a Motley. So, the Hypo gene from the Hypo Motley attached to the OTHER Motley used. That is why you see Hypo Motleys in the litter. I hope that makes sense.
When you use a Hypo Motley to a NORMAL female, you will get 1/2 Motleys, and 1/2 Hypos. NO NORMALS!!! No Hypo Motleys....
I have bred Hypo Motleys 7 times. In all 7 breeding not a single normal was produced, and the only time hypo Motleys were produced was when I used another NORMAL motley parent. I Only produced a Red Devil Once, PREMATURE, and the ONLY time I used Hypo Motley to Hypo Motley. I wish I knew more back a few years ago, but even then, you still don't know....
I knew I would mis speak on the subject, so I hope to clarify it soon.
Jeremy
