For what it is worth....you paid a low price for a pair of Pastels, and if you are happy, because you wanted a PAIR, and only had $125 to spend, then cool!

That being said, the low price was probably a reflection of the animal's appearance, they do look like "B" grade Pastels. You would have gotten the response you were looking for, "Damn man, nice pick up for $125," if they would have been spectacular Pastels, but they are not. A low grade female is not the worst thing in the world, because you can breed a stuning Pastel YB or Cinn or any other Co Dom morph to her, and probably produce ok Pastels and decent crosses. That being said, if your goal is to produce saleable Pastels, you REALLY need a stunning male, not your run of the mill male, or less than run of the mill male.

Your pics are not the best, maybe they shed, and you take a better pic, and they look great. As it stands, you paid what you thought they were worth. My opinion, with very low prices as it is, I would only buy animals that were "10"'s as long as I had the money to do so.
