I'm no vet, and a newbie to balls to boot, so take this with a grain of salt, but, that sounds like it might be a kidney issue. Someone can correct me here, if I'm wrong. I'd get a vet to check your guy out, either way, doesn't sound like normal behavior for a creature that passes dry urates. Best of luck!
