Yes, buyers should educate themselves, but sellers should also be honest. How many buyers of hatchling turtles were told the turtles wouldn't get much bigger? If a buyer asks the right questions, and the seller lies, who's responsible? 90% of the unwanted pet sliders were purchased as illegal hatchlings in tourist areas for God sakes. What breeder sold the turtles to a tourist store? Selling hatchling turtles from a responsible venue is one thing, selling your animals to a tourist shop is something else. | ||
