Got some feeders for all my new little ones and within minutes 52 of them had eaten. That's over 90% ate at first offering and BEFORE first shed!!! I left the feeders in with the remaining 5 (at least a couple had already killed them) to see if they ate when left alone. Not to worry, only small fuzzy/hopper mice without teeth.





Also noted something interesting about my new litters and dates.



Wilma's babies were found at POS + 117 days and I suspect they were several days old when found



Tink's babies were found at POS + 115 days old and while also look to be not just born I suspect were a little younger that Wilma's babies



Clover's babies were found at POS + 113 days old and look like maybe a day old if that.





Bottom line is my change to basking temps during gestation has decreased gestation time and with that limited sample look to be very similar. Of course I can;t say for sure exactly how long gestation was but looks like POS &#$# 112 days would fit what I see.



With that I have new revised due dates on a few females, those with positive dopler results...
