Bob clark determined that albino is a recessive mutant gene in ball pythons. So when an albino is mated to a normal, all the babies are hets and look normal. If any albinos come out of an albino X normal mating, then the normal-looking snake is actually a het albino.



100% probability het is a long-winded way of saying het.



66% probability het babies come from a pair of hets.



50% probability het babies come from a het mated to a normal.
