I tried counting midbody scale rows on my Colombian Rainbows. Both of them are big adults and they would not hold still enough for me to make accurate counts. I think they both are in the low 40s. I thought there might be something on this in Jerry Wall's book "The Living Boas" but it had no numbers for maurus. I will try counting on my two again if they look like they will hold still.
