I came home from vacation to find...

My little het blood BCI had escaped. I left my snakes in the care of my boyfriend and the first thing out of his mouth when he picked me up from the airport is... "I lost one of your snakes!" Apparently, he even took the day off work to look for him and had looked for 11 hours. I of course was a mix of sad and irate. He was up all last night looking more, but no luck.



I am starting to accumulate quite a good number of snakes, and some are part of the breeding colony, but some are just special little guys... this was one of the latter. He's the only het blood I have that doesn't have my immenant demise in mind when he's out.



The kicker is... I had just bought a couple of '04 poss het blood females to breed to him this season! I am so upset... it makes me want to never leave my babies again!
