If a snake really thrashed, I'd expect the thread to break.

But I have to admit, I've never tried this method, I have just read about it.







Wouldn't there be some risk of the thread cutting into the corner of their mouth as they try to get away and/or wrapping around them in a potentially hazardous manner if they were to panic and start thrashing or something?
