I guess I don't understand why this was a bad example- My arguement was in favor of giving it a name different than Kingpin since pastel butter was used in the cross. My example included Lemon Blast and Kingpin. Both have pinstripe, but different morphs crossed into the pinstripe to get there, Lemon pastel and Lesser, respectively, and thus they have different names (ie., not both "Kingpin" in the name even though they both have pinstipe in the cross). Maybe someone can explain where I went wrong in this example so I know. I am new to the hobbie, but trying very hard to learn.
I was kidding with Margarin ("butter lite" pinstripe), but I guess the humor wasn't apparent. Emperor is a good name- they are certainly stately and I think that they are one of the most attractive crosses I've seen posted to the forum since I've been reading.
Sorry if I offended.
