Hey, I just got my first corn about a week ago, nows he's about 9 weeks old. Since I got him I've been trying to handle him every day (except for 2 days after I fed him) and I've noticed something... He only lets me handle him in the morning, between 9 and 11 am. Any time after 12 and he doesn't let me pick him up or darts out of my hands before I can get him an inch off the ground. I was just wondering if any of you know why he would do this? I thought maybe since it was earlier in the day his cage is cooler and he is slower before we warms up like all reptiles but I don't know if this is true because when I handle him he seems to move the whole time and fairly quickly. Have any of you heard of snakes having a preference to anything like this? I know this is kinda weird but any help is appreciated, thanks.
