I've never heard of someone contracting salmonella from a snake... I have a 2yr old and I sometimes let her touch my snakes. But she gets rub rub (what she call hand sanitizer). Is she in anymore danger of contracting salmonella than some kid that goes and plays in a creek??? [ Hide Replies ]
