Kevin (NERD) said that he named the Woma ball such because the color or the pattern (I forget which probably the banded pattern) reminded him of a Woma python. Like most morphs there are those that exhibit the trait much better than others -- many of the Womas you see dont look quite as nice as the originals. Two Womas bred together makes a pearl ball -- so far there seems to be an issue with these living very long. Some Womas also seem to carry a hidden gene that makes for spectacular crosses.
