Something to be said about; " If it is not broke, do not fix it. "

I had heard something about you using no supplemental heat in the past and it obviously worked for you.

However, sometimes " we need to break out of the box, even at the risk of not getting good results " and I commend you greatly for that.

B.C.C. definately take a great amount of patience and love and I hope to take what I have learned over the years and apply it to successful breedings.

However, I do not kid myself at all when it comes to success itself.

I do not know Mike; " Maybe in the end it is all about genetics. "

Maybe, just maybe we keep way too many Boas in litters that would have never made it in the wild and they wind up living through our nurturing, but never become great producers, even when subjected to the same breedings and cycling that others in the group experiance and have success? "

Not mentioning any names, but one of the best B.C.C. producers I know, let me in on a secret one time " maybe by mistake " and mentioned that he will give a female two seasons to prove herself and if she does not, she gets sent down the road.

In essence, " as far as my understanding was concerned based on his comments, " he only kept productive females.

So, maybe " wether he does it intentionally knowing his reasons or not " he is simply weeding out the ones that were never meant to be successful if they would have been born in nature? "

It would not seem in your case that this would probably apply.

The girls just simply dropped premies, but there were fully developed and shows the act itself was done properly.

Maybe just means; " you will be breaking out the oil heaters again! "

Thanks, for letting me Ramble and The Best Of Luck toward whatever else you are expecting to drop.......John J
