My ghost corn laid 3 eggs the Friday of the Daytona Show, 1 week and 3 days ago. She obviously still has 3 more eggs inside her. The consensus was to give her a few days, she is not in any obvious distress.
3 days ago I called a local vet about possibly aspirating the eggs, he said to give if a few more days. I asked if I should try to feed her and he said yes if she would eat.
I offered her a very small rat pink, she usually eats rat hoppers, which she ate immediately then had a full shed before i took her out of her feeding box. That was 3 days ago. She hasn't gone back in the nesting box and is just cruising her cage like she normally does.
There is no doubt there are 3 easly felt eggs very close to her vent. I did try gently palpating several times during this, but nothing.
I think it is time to have them aspirated, but still trying to find a good reptile vet in the area. My local breeder can probably do it, and I would probably trust him more than an unknown vet.
