Posted by: DMong at Wed Sep 3 16:05:12 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by DMong ] Yes,...you'll need someone to either hold the snakes, or take the pic,...it's extremely tough to hold the tail absolutely pulled out straight, and take the photo at the same time..LOL!(as you already found out). Also, it is crucial to get the ENTIRE tail from just above the cloaca(several ventral scales), to tail tip where you are pulling it nice and straight. When they are taken from even slight angles, the camera's depth of field can drastically misrepresent the tapering of the tail. | ||
