The dark animal is the super form of a gene that we've been working with that we've been calling "black opals". We are working with a small group of them and still trying to figure them out. The super seems to look somewhat like super sables or super granites. But as you can see in the second pic, their bellies look a lot like a yellow belly, unlike the super sables, which have very dark bellies. We are hoping to pick up a sable female this year and see how the genes react with one another. Time will tell. [ Hide Replies ]
