it is nice because there are 3 locally owned pet stores within a 10 minute drive from my house, and one of them is a reptile store. i was talking with one of the girls there and she said there used to be a herp show that came through but 2 years ago there was a group, surprisingly it was NOT PETA, but something like them pretty much put a stop to that. i guess allot of the vendors even got cited for things(i dont know the details) so no herp shows, i guess i could make the drive out to west texas for one or maybe up to denver i think there is one up there, but i dont know how to find out
