Thanks Matt. She is a cranky old huzzy but she has given me a nice clutch for the last 7 years so I'm willing to put up with a little love nip every now and then. It's strange, she usually lays 12 to 15 eggs but this year she only layed 6. She is so big that with only 6 eggs I didn't even think she was gravid. Since I didn't think she was gravid, I did not even have a nest box in with her. Luckily I checked on her one day and saw that she had layed them in her hide box.
