New Litter

Jari is delivering her litter. This is my fifth Rainbow Boa and fourth Brazilian litter of the year. So far it looks like more than a dozen healthy babies, 1 stillborn and two slugs. Two of the babies look like they are half the weight of the others and are probably twins though already out of the membrane so I cannot tell for sure. The other babies look slightly smaller than typical. I will weigh some of them and the two twins?. I did not expect a big litter from Jari. She has delivered large 20 litters the last two years. This is day 121 POS. She has shed twice since then. Last observed matings ware late march. Paru is the father of this litter. Both Paru and Jari were imported in 1992.
