Welcome to the forum. Females need to be around 5.5 feet long and weigh 3.5 pounds to breed. Males can be smaller, perhaps just under 5 feet and 1.75 pounds. Some will reproduce for first time at 3 years of age and some others a year later.
Good Luck,
Jeff
>>I picked up a mate for my brazilian at Daytona. Both are about 4' long. Is this a viable size for breeding this year, or do I wait until next year? Good body weight on both, but not heavy. Female is about 3 yrs old.
