opinions on hog coloration needed

I got this guy last year. He was in a group of normal hognoses but he really stood out to me. His parents were normal. He has a light gray background color with greenish gray blotches. His ventrals are black and white with a very pale yellow on his anal plates. I expected his color to darken as he got older but he just gets nicer looking with every shed. Any opinions or anyone else have one like this?
