...consider his motives. He's really just trying to bring your pricing down. One of the most insulting and, in my opinion, ineffective “bargaining” tactics is to downplay the quality and value of your animals/items. Nevertheless, people do this all of the time. If he doesn’t like your animals, why contact you at all?
i.e.: if your animals have such low value, why would he be interested in how you price them?
I wouldn’t give it a second thought, though I know that’s easier said than done.
