But 50% of yours do have the marker! Breeders with larger sample sizes have reported around 80%.



"Recessive" and "Co dominant" are just classifications people made up that fit many but not all morphs. But we don't really make the rules and piebald in ball pythons seems to be like green and labyrinth in Burmese pythons in that even though we consider them recessive they have significant co-dominant tendencies.



If you want to ignore the piebald markers because they aren't 100% consistent that is your prerogative. But here is a great great granddaughter of a piebald that I decided to keep based on her markers in spite of her low on paper odds of being a het pied after 4 consecutive generations of outbreeding.
