'Miami' or 'Dade county' is a locality just like 'okeetee' is. These are basically normal corns that just have a bit of a different look to them based on where they are from. When bred together you'll see kind of a blend of the localities in the offspring. There are a lot of different localities of corns, many of which are not near as popular as the aforementioned okeetees and miamis. A friend of mine I know on another forum posts pics of some very pretty ones in florida that he finds while field herping that have a high red coloration in the background. A lot of the kingsnake breeders really get into locale specific snakes..down to which mile markers they are found between. A good friend of mine sells eastern chain kings completely on their locality down to the county level and he is working with several different localities. I know that a lot of the gray band king people do the same thing. Except for miamis and okeetees, we really don't see so much of a demand for 'locale specific' snakes in the corn world as what's seen with the kings. When truth be told, there is just as much variance seen in the locale specific corns....it just hasn't seemed to stick with the breeders or with the pet trade in general.
