My "greenish" blonde suboc finally laid her eggs last night. She went to 14 (maybe even 15) days after shedding before laying so I was getting a bit anxious. The only other time she laid eggs for me was in 2006 and she laid them only 7 days after the pre-lay shed. However, only one out of seven was good. As you can see in the photos, these all look good. She laid 11 total. My other suboc female (a normal phase, het for blonde; pictured in Dusty's book with her clutch of 16) should lay in a few days too. She's huge. Last time she also went 14 days before laying. Anyway, look how skinny this one looks in the photo. I'll have her up to her normal weight soon enough. She bred with a really nice axanthic male. He's in shed now but when he sheds I'll post some shots of him.
Mike
