Julie,
...I took the Peruvian to Daytona to show it off more than to sell it. The price seemed pretty high to me but there were several people considering buying it. Some of them were more interested in the color than the fact that it was a real Peruvian. With five more females getting big enough to breed this coming season I "should" have some Peruvian babies to sell next summer. I do have a couple Peruvians that are orange rather than red and even one red male and one orange male that are very plain. Counting scales is difficult. If it wasn't I would ask everyone I know with Rainbow Boas to count scale rows on all their animals. I am sure there would be some Brazilians with lower scale counts and I know because I have counted scales on them that many people's "Peruvians" have high scale counts.

>>I just love it when you post those snakes. They're so pretty, great color, I love the thick black pattern and they have such pretty faces. Every time a see "peruvians" listed, I have a look and think "nope, not as nice as Jeff's". I wish I'd known you were going to sell one at Daytona, I'd have been very tempted to have it arrive at the show with a "sold" sticker on it!

>>Seeing them makes me wonder just how many red BRB have a little Peruvian in the woodshed, know what I mean?
