I see what you were getting at here. All Lampropeltine snakes are much closer related than our classification system would lead one to believe. In many instances arguing intergrade over hybrid or vice versa is an exercise in futility because the absolute definitions of the terms in no way reflect the relationships of the animal(s) these terms are used to describe. ----- Herp Conservation Unlimited
