I am not bustin your chops in amy way man.....
I just know how these (us) thayeri breedersa are.....
I produced from Mt.Kings X Vermilya X Vivid (via Kims Kolubrids) for many years in the past....Maybe before you posted on this forum......And I was never able to call them John Lassiter thayeri....Many of my buyers would call them thayeri produced by Lassiter, but I never had my own 'line'......
And, as I posted below.....this is a hypocrisy (maybe blasphemy here) stating that Gebhart, Kardon, Applegate, Price, Cherry, Vermilya, Blodie, Hammack, Sipery, etc..... and the such may have been in the 'lumper' category back in the 70s and may have, in fact, been part of the mixicana craze of the time.........
I know that some have added some 'wild' thayeri into their recent bloodline, but does that make all their line breeding "pure"?
I tried my best to breed what I thought was pure.....But HOW DO WE KNOW FOR SURE??????
I am building a colony of breeders from the same breeders I mentioned above.......I just hope to keep what we have as pure as it is now.....
Chris...I hope some day you/we can have some Flowers line thayeri......But, man it is hard to 'create' your own line here in the mexicana world......LOL
