Would anyone offer their advice or opinion on this issue I am having..Please?
Current temps: 89 degrees day - 78 degrees night. Humidity at 60% - 12 hour lights on. Females are kept alone.
I obtained a 9 year old Het Albino female back in early Sep. It fed once and only if the FT rat was left by her side. It was around that same time. Since then and while there is some interest in the offerings, she will not eat. She is 8' and around 22 lbs. My concern is breeding her this year (introducing males in Oct) and if that last supper will be enough for her to produce without harm. She is a proven breeder and looks to be, in my opinion, healthy.
I gave one last shot last night and the rat was not touched. So, before I toss in my boy and see if nature will take its course, I wanted to seek some advice.
Also, my adult female Peruvian seems to be following that same path now. Could it be the night time temps?
Thank you!
Kenny
