The female can retain sperm for months and in some instances a year. I heard of a female that was only put with a cinny last breeding season and she had pastels from the previous years copulations. She could also absorb the folicles and not produce at all if she doesn't feel like her body is ready for eggs. Its usually around 50-55 days after ovulation though. Main thing is have your snakes healthy and give them the opportunity to coppulate several times and cross your fingers. I usually have a male in with the females until I see ovulation, just give him breaks every now and then to offer food and rest up. Good luck! | ||
