I've got 2 sterilite ultra drawers I got from walmart, they're fully enclosed on both sides, back, and top the bottom has openings on the case under the tub which works great for air ventilation for UTH's. All I did was buy some soft/non abrasive mesh screen and duct tape it over the top of the actual tubs and cut the centers out so only about 1.5-2" of mesh is left on all sides. This way when the snakes crawl up the sides to get out( as they usually do) they hit the mesh, and they can't hold their bodies up enough to get out the center without some support, never had an escapee from this system. The other ones I have I also got from walmart, they're sterilites too can't remember what kind though. They are enclosed on both sides, top, and bottom and back is open. All I did with these is used the same mesh screen as the others but taped it tight to the back of the drawer, so if anyone DID get out of the tub they would still be in the drawer. Never had an escapee with these ones either!! They work great for now, but I still want to get some ballroom racks or something later down the line. | ||
