I have found that my thayeri like it on the cool side. I have baseboard heat, but of course the heat rises, so it's cooler on the floor than at the top. I put my thayeri on the bottom shelf, that way the cool side is about 65, and if they choose to use the flexwatt tape, they can get up to about 90.
