Paper towels for newbies with lots of hides until they are established feeders and thru with quarintine. WC stay in quar. until they are finished with their deworming treatments and get a clean fecal.

I do not use topsoil because it molds and normally is not sterile so it has little buggies in it.

Also, in response to your fatty liver question several post down, easterns live just fine on a rodent diet, though I prefer to feed them as little hair as possible, so rat pinks work well. Any snake that is over fed can develop fatty liver. Hoggies are just prone to being overfed more since they process rodents differently then a rodent feeding snake.
