I have an adult female that will be 4 years old next July. She has been fed nothing but mice/rats since day 1. They seem to get a lot more out of the rodents, so once they are past their active growing period (where they can really use all that energy), you do have to cut back or they will likely develop problems. She is about as big as my corn snake but eats half as much as the corn does lol. The corn gets weaned rats or jumbo mice whereas the hog gets half grown mice or a rat fuzzy.
