RE: Breeding Boas

I don't house my boas together anymore, but I used to. I did it because the female had a HUGE cage and the male had a smaller cage.

I ended up with 2 healthy litters, 2 years in a row. I decided it was best to seperate them, so the female would stop having babies.

Now I house my boas seperately. I guess either way will work, but I prefer to keep them seperate until breeding season. It's just easier to give the females a "year off" if I don't want them to breed.

BTW it's breeding season "NOW". At least, it's breeding season where I am. My boas have been going at it since early Sept.
