Might I suggest this thread as additional reading on the subject: http://forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1606578,1606578
It's not fun to remove a snake from its enclosure, trigger its feeding response, and then have to place it back in its enclosure. Increasing the amount of contact between you and the snake during feeding does not in any way reduce the liklihood of the snake mistaking you for food. In fact, it does the opposite. Any snakes "in cage" feeding response can easily be neutralized by simply tapping it with a snake hook to make it aware of your presence. ----- "He who would stifle debate rather than engage in it, does so at the expense of his integrity and credibility"
