If you actually mean "Barry Miller" and not Mark Miller, then yes. Same blood. And yes, the aberrant patterns are genetic. Our original adults came from the same litter that was produced by Robert Flanery in about 1999 or 2000. Robert, coincidentally got the adults from me, and had the first litter born literally about six months after I shipped them to him. I have a number from that litter as I brokered most of those animals from Robert. Barry got some some through me from that litter. I had gotten the adults that Robert bred in around 1994 from Jim Pomaville who had purchased them from Lloyd Lemke in 1992 or 1993 as new born babies.
In fact all the true South Brazilian amaralli, I beleive, are thought to have come from Lloyd, who brought in a group of them around 1985. I wish Lloyd would have lived a little longer, not just because he was one of the original original good guy dealers/breeders and a great asset to the herp world, but all that specific history died with him I afraid. We all heard he was sick and then it seemed like weeks later that he died.
