I've bred several species of reptiles, but this is my first year breeding boas. Or trying, anyway! I'm hoping my Hog Islands will take to it this year. Both are old enough, so, I've got my fingers crossed!

My question is-
When do you guys pair your boas up?

Both my male and female have been fed heavy this summer, and both are in prime breeding condition. My female especially is perfectly plump, and ready to go.

I started dropping nights down to the upper 70s, and I'll be taking the divider out of my 6ft Boaphile to introduce them, but, what date should I really do this?

Any other tips for a first time boa breeder are appreciated as well! Also, I've been hearing mixed things- should I quit feeding them when I introduce them, or should I keep feeding until they quit on their own?

thanks,
Ronnie Nocera
