I paired my boas up at the beginning of Sept. I keep my boas "warm". There's no night time drop in temps. I have the hot spot at 89 and plan to raise it higher. I raise it a degree every week or so. I'll top the hot spot off at 94. That's the temp they use for gestation. The cool end is at 80 to 82. I keep the snake room between 80 and 85.

So far, I have one boa that's had her pre-ov swell. I expect to see an ovulation out of her in the next couple of weeks. I'm only breeding 2 boas this year.

I continue to feed, clean my boas. I have to seperate them for feeding. I have to remove them from their cage for cleaning. I change the water daily. Nothing discourages them from breeding. My boas seem to breed well at higher temps.

I guess different methods work for different situations.
