You could do it ,is the Garage finished with drywall and everything. If Not insulate the ceiling and the walls. This will keep it from getting to hot and to cold. It wouldn't cost much to fix it up. If I lived In Fla. thats what I would do, then for cold nights have a oil filled heater set on a Ranco or Johnson control......... Good luck getting it done
