This is one thing I think determines a Pucallpa...identification of an adult. They get dark, but the dark over-wash diminishes as it approaches the saddles. The saddles have a bright aura of the original around them. Hope that makes sense. Just something I've noticed in Pucallpas more so than others. May just be my imagination.
