About 7 years ago now, I found a baby one in a local pet shop that was absolutely PERFECTLY banded. $60, so I couldn't resist. This was the first colubrid I had had in years. At that time, I had a lot of different pythons and boas, and of course my beloved Copperheads. I got it home and set it down on a table while I was arranging it's box. I turned my head for literally 5 seconds, and when I turned back around, it was just GONE. No sign of it whatsoever. I eventually figured it set a new land speed record at diving off the table and disappearing into the wall via the heating vent. | ||
