HEAVY!
I have a 14 unit melamine in my basement that I think it would take 4 guys to move out so I'll just leave it there for hatching season overflow.
But it looks nice and is washable so I used it in my new snake room too. But the design I used there which would only work for small collections avoids a heavy single unit. What I did was to make shelves that span a small room (54 inches wide). Each shelf slides in a routered 2X4 attached to the wall. I don't have to buy or lift extra melamine for the sides or back so my per tub cost for the “rack” is about $4 not including heating or the room it's self (or the sweater boxes moved from my old rack). It was still a lot of work (I attach rails to the edges of the 49 inch wide melamine to extend it enough to get three 28 quart tubs in a level) and requires that your room be just the right width and it’s not very portable should I ever move.
