What black rat mutations have cropped up in the last few years. From what I've seen, base mutations of pure blacks have not really changed at all since I have been out of touch. I'm aware of the established albino, brindle, rusty, leucistic, and white sided(licorice). When I was getting out of black rats, I was aware of a second possible albino sometimes called lavender. Has this proven to be a T pos albino, or is it the "hypo" that I have seen listed several places? Are there any recent mutations that I have missed? I purposely left out any possible or questionable intergrade mutations. Not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers, just asking about proven pure black morphs. I have seen listed "halloween phase" black rats and "striped" black rats. Are these proven and true pure blacks? Sorry for the long post and multiple questions, but I know this is the place to ask the experts. Thanks for all of your help. [ Hide Replies ]
