We had an imported ball similar to yours in 04 (pictured). This one we have now is not the same as it. I think we have 2 different balls here, but they both carrying the Granite trait. Maybe there is some other similar genetics going on between them, but only time will tell.
Maybe they will be like the Cinnamon Pastel and Black Pastel, as far as similarity yet different morphs.

Nice looking guy! Those would make for an awesome Lav cross.
