OK just probed again. 6 deep/ 8 deep on both sides, smoothly. A little deeper this time.
I have probed and popped many a snake, but this one just does not want to pop. Does not even show the begining of the vein. It does have a shorter tail than other males of similar size, but has bigger spures than females of than size. And the 'sperm plugs' look like sperm plugs not the normal mush out of a female. I will get a pic of one of the 'plugs' and post it.
