Posted by: mqbuchanan at Tue Oct 14 20:13:05 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by mqbuchanan ] If you don't know what a killer bee is or if you don't know what you get from breeding an albino with something else, you should probably spend a great deal of time reading up, Kevin McCurley's Complete Ball Python or VPI's Ball Python book if you can afford it, even Ralph Davis website has a ton of info and its free. You probably want to produce visable phenotypes (animals that look like what they are) and not hets (animals that look normal but carry mutated genes) if you are just starting off, they are much easier to sell, and as a newbie breeder you would lack the credibility with saying your hets are indeed hets. Why would I buy a het from someone I have never heard of vs buying a het from Pete Kahl, Ralph Davis, or others at the same or near the same price. | ||
