Season is coming to a close

Here in Central Mississippi the season is lingering a little longer than usual. Mild days in the mid 80s with nights in the 60s are still producing a few snakes.



I found these two adult Gray Ratsnakes (Pantherophis o. spiloides) in my yard yesterday. Very typical grays. Most have straw-yellow groundcolors but a few are truly gray.
