Alfonso,
Its Shawn from StickyFeet.

I talked to Chris from Gulf Coast about my vanilla babies and took some examples to show him at Daytona and Tampa. He looked at them and was surprised by how dark some were. He told me about the breeding of darker females and the possibilty of maybe a second gene mixed in with some of the babies which darkens them up. I used what I thought was normal females, but some were dark and some were light. I had some male babies come out so normal looking Im just selling them to pet stores as CBs. The gist of the conversation was you have to be selective.

After speaking with him I decided I will no longer breed my male to normal females so I have a limited number of just vanillas, and focus on pastel vanillas and should have vanilla 100% het clowns this year.

He also looked at my super vanilla and told me that he is one of the best, if not the best super produced so far. He is even lighter than in 07 when you saw him. He is my pride and joy of my collection.

Hope all is well and good luck with the breeding.
